8M4507538 Mechanical Console Mount Remote Control with Trim

Single Console Mount for Outboard with Trim or Sterndrive/Inboard, Chrome. New Mechanical Remote Control with neutral lock.  New lever supports ABYC P14.5.7 requirements which went into effect on July 1st, 2022.  

This single station console control works with outboard sterndrive/inboard engines. The handle is designed to provide optimal ergonomic use while the best-in-class mechanics offer smooth operation, improved responsiveness and increased strength. The throttle only button is located at the base of handle.

This control requires the use of Mercury/Quicksilver GEN II shift and throttle cables.

Works with Mercury outboards 

Features:

1. Power trim switch (if equipped on engine). Used to trim or raise drive unit for trailering, launching, etc.
2. Trailer switch. Used to raise drive beyond maximum trim position. 
3. Neutral lock bar. Prevents accidental shift and throttle engagement. 
4. Throttle only button. Allows the engine throttle advancement without shifting the engine. 
5. Control handle throttle friction adjustment nut. This nut can be adjusted to increase or decrease the friction on the control handle.
