Mercury Anode Cover 8M0177452 is an OEM gearcase component designed for select Mercury 7.6L V12 outboards. It installs in the gear housing driveshaft assembly and serves as the cover associated with the gearcase sacrificial anode.
Compatible with the following:
- Mercury 600 HP 7.6L V12 Verado
- Select Mercury 500 HP 7.6L V12 SeaPro applications
This is the anode cover only. The sacrificial anode is a separate component. Compatible gearcase diagrams identify 8M0177453 as the aluminum anode and 8M0179229 as the optional magnesium anode.
