Mercury Trim Tab (Aluminum) Anode 31640Q4 is a genuine Mercury/Quicksilver OEM replacement anode designed to protect compatible Mercury, Mariner, and MerCruiser applications from galvanic corrosion. This sacrificial aluminum trim tab anode also provides hydrodynamic trim force to aid steering while protecting the gearcase or sterndrive.

Compatible with the following:

• Mercury & Mariner 30HP-200HP outboards
• All MerCruiser sterndrives except Bravo models

Manufactured to Mercury Marine's OEM specifications, this cast aluminum trim tab anode meets or exceeds MIL-A-24779(SH) military specifications for long-lasting corrosion protection. Aluminum anodes provide excellent protection in both freshwater and saltwater and typically last longer than traditional zinc anodes.

Check for proper propeller clearance after installation to ensure the anode does not interfere with propeller operation. Inspect sacrificial anodes regularly and replace them when significant corrosion or pitting is present to help protect your outboard or sterndrive.
