Mercury Bravo I XR Sterndrive 5E31200UP is a heavy-duty performance drive featuring a 1.50:1 gear ratio and dual water pickups (DWP). The Bravo One XR platform uses the race-proven Bravo One gear housing with upgraded internal components designed for increased strength and durability in high-performance applications.

The XR drive incorporates several heavy-duty components, including a stronger U-joint, net-forged straight bevel gears, heavy-duty stainless steel propeller shaft, upgraded upper thrust bearings, steel upper gear bearing support, and a digital trim sender. Dual water pickups help maintain cooling-water flow in demanding high-speed applications.

Mercury's repower guide identifies this Bravo One XR DWP 1.50 configuration as a solid-hub drive rated for applications up to 600 HP.
