Mercury SmartCraft NMEA 2000 Multi-Engine Gateway 8M0165589

Mercury SmartCraft Gateway 8M0165589 is a genuine OEM NMEA 2000 gateway designed to integrate compatible SmartCraft engine and system data with an NMEA 2000 network. It supports single through quad-engine installations, allowing SmartCraft data to be shared with compatible marine electronics.

Compatible Applications:

• Single, twin, triple, and quad-engine SmartCraft installations
• Applications requiring SmartCraft data on an NMEA 2000 network
• Compatible Mercury outboard and MerCruiser SmartCraft systems

The gateway converts applicable Mercury engine and system data to NMEA 2000 and can also convert supported NMEA 2000 data for use by compatible SmartCraft gauges and displays. For multi-engine installations, the engines must be connected to the same SmartCraft CAN-P network.

This gateway is generally not required when using a MercMonitor, VesselView Link, or VesselView 403, 502, 703, or 903, since those systems already provide gateway functionality. An existing, properly powered NMEA 2000 network is required.
