Mercury Forward & Pinion Gear Set 8M0094474 is an OEM replacement gear set for select Mercury FourStroke gearcases. Mercury parts diagrams identify this set as the forward gear and pinion gear assembly used within compatible 2.38:1 standard-rotation gear housings.

The gear set is used in compatible 2.38:1 standard-rotation gearcases and replaces the forward and pinion gears as a matched set. Related bearings, shims, reverse gear, clutch components, and other gearcase hardware are separate unless otherwise specified.
