Mercury Impeller Housing Assembly 8M0139978 is an OEM replacement housing assembly for the engine-mounted seawater pump on select MerCruiser sterndrive and inboard engines.

Compatible with select MerCruiser applications including:

• 4.5L MPI sterndrive and inboard engines
• 6.2L MPI sterndrive and inboard engines
• Select MerCruiser seawater pump assemblies using this impeller housing

The housing supports the seawater pump impeller and is a critical part of the engine's raw-water cooling system. Replacing a worn or damaged housing helps maintain proper cooling-water flow through the engine.

The assembly includes the water pump impeller. The wear plate and gasket are not included and may need to be ordered separately depending on the repair.
