Mercury Remote Ignition Key Switch Kit 15000A7 is a genuine Mercury OEM transom-mounted key switch kit designed for select Mercury and Mariner outboards. It features an 8-pin engine connector and 6-foot cable for compatible remote ignition installations.

Compatible with the following:

• Select Mercury outboards through model year 2005
• Select Mariner outboards through model year 2005
• Remote-control applications using a compatible 8-pin engine connection
• Applications requiring Mercury part number 15000A7

The key switch provides control of the starter solenoid and choke or fuel enrichment system on compatible engines. Outboard installations require a compatible remote-control engine harness, and the warning horn function may not be supported on every engine application.
