Mercury Powerhead Assembly 879808T07 is an OEM replacement powerhead for select Mercury and Mariner 2.5L DFI 2-stroke outboards. Mercury parts catalogs identify this powerhead specifically for the 135 HP, 150 HP, and 110 Jet versions of the 2.5L DFI engine family.

Compatible with select applications including:

  • Mercury 110 Jet 2.5L DFI
  • Mercury 135 HP 2.5L DFI
  • Mercury 150 HP 2.5L DFI
  • Corresponding Mariner 135 and 150 HP 2.5L DFI applications

This is the complete powerhead assembly intended for major engine repair or replacement. Mercury uses a different powerhead, 879809T07, for the related 175 HP 2.5L DFI application, so 879808T07 should not be treated as a universal 135-175 HP powerhead.
