Mercury Side Mount Remote Control 8M0176294 is a traditional 8-pin mechanical remote control for compatible Mercury, Mariner, and Force outboards with integral power trim. It features a handle-mounted power trim switch and uses GEN II throttle and shift cables for most applications.

The control includes a 15 ft. (4.58 m) harness, built-in warning horn, and power trim leads for connecting a front-mount trim switch.

Compatible Applications:

• Mercury and Mariner outboards with integral power trim
• 1993 and newer Force outboards, 40 HP and higher, using Mercury-style cables and power trim
• Select MY2005 and newer 8, 9.9, 15, and 20 HP FourStroke outboards with the appropriate adapter harness

MY2005 and newer 8/9.9/15/20 HP FourStroke outboards require an adapter harness. MY2005 and newer 8/9.9 HP FourStroke outboards require SAE throttle and shift cables rather than GEN II cables.
