Mercury Power Trim Solenoid Switch 851839 is an OEM electrical replacement component used in the power trim and tilt system on select Mercury and Mariner outboards.

Compatible with select Mercury and Mariner outboards including:

8 HP EFI FourStroke
9.9 HP EFI FourStroke
15 HP FourStroke
20 HP FourStroke
Select 40 HP and 50 HP outboards

This solenoid switch is used to control electrical power within the power trim system. On applications that use separate up and down solenoids, 851839 is identified as the DOWN solenoid switch, while 8518391 is used for the UP function.

Because Mercury used this solenoid across several engine families and electrical configurations, compatibility should be confirmed by engine serial number before ordering.
