Mercury Upper Crankshaft Wear Sleeve Kit 8M0194204 is a genuine OEM repair kit designed to repair the crankshaft sealing surface on engines experiencing oil leaks caused by a rusted, pitted, or grooved sealing surface.

The wear sleeve provides a new sealing surface at the upper crankshaft, allowing the affected area to be repaired without replacing the crankshaft solely because of damage or wear at the seal contact surface.
