Mercury Corrosion Guard Engine Protect 8M0172753 is a lightweight spray-on corrosion inhibitor designed specifically to help protect engine blocks, under-cowl areas, and other metal components from rust and corrosion. It forms a water-resistant barrier for protection in both freshwater and saltwater environments.

Unlike heavier corrosion coatings, Engine Protect dries quickly to a thin, clear protective film that won't gum up engine linkages or collect dirt and debris. The non-staining formula is also safe for use around paint, plastic, and rubber.
